And want to pick up and leave the hire car at different places, perhaps you're planning a multi-destination holiday. You'll want to make sure that you've sorted out your car hire before your flight, if you plan on traveling around once you arrive. 2.
You don't want to have to make expensive and time consuming phone calls from the airport if you haven't got the right information to hand. Or tell the taxi driver where you're going, get on the right bus or train, you'll want to know exactly where you're going so that when you arrive you can drive away in your hire car. 3.
Or take the children out of school in order to catch your flight, will you need to finish work early? You won't be late, so that even if the traffic is bad, you'll need to leave plenty of time to get to the airport. 4.
Why not book your car parking online and save yourself time as well as money? Especially at busy times of day, which can take time, you'll need to find somewhere to park. 5.
You'll need to make sure that you arrive at the airport in plenty of time for your flight. And can be dependent on where you're flying to, the time needed to check in will vary from airline to airline. 6.
You might also want to inform people if you're flight details have changed too. Or to check the weather conditions at your destination, you might want to use the internet whilst you're waiting for your flight so that you can catch up with some vital work. 7.
Rather than having to look for a bank or an ATM at the airport, or a meal as you arrive, having currency on your person as you fly will also mean that you can pay for your taxi. You won't have to go into a bank abroad and change travellers' cheques, by getting your currency before you go abroad. 8.
And you won't have time for a meal before your business meeting when you land, or perhaps it's only a short flight, perhaps you're going on a long flight and don't want to be hungry, you might want to eat at the airport. 9.
And buy luxury goods at a reduced price, you might even want to take advantage of duty free shopping. Or a book or magazine to read on the flight, or some first aid items, perhaps you want another memory card for your camera. You'll also want to do any last minute shopping before you fly. 10.
